We’re excited to announce that Los Angeles Bicycle Academy will be participating in the 2025 Green Fondo, a weekend-long cycling festival hosted by Climate Ride and dedicated to environmental action, community, and sustainability.

Taking place near the San Francisco Bay Area, Green Fondo is more than just a ride; it’s a celebration of purpose and connection. With three route options each day, it welcomes riders of all levels to enjoy the outdoors, share conversations that matter, and pedal for the planet. 🌎🚴‍♀️

Participants will camp, ride, eat, dance, and fundraise... all while supporting nonprofits working toward climate justice and equity in cycling.

Fareed’s journey began with LABA’s Earn-A-Bike Program. Today, he’s a role model and budding mechanic who inspires younger students with his dedication, knowledge, and love for cycling. At Green Fondo, he rides with heart—for the planet and the community that raised him.

As the visionary behind LABA, Damon has spent years empowering youth through bikes. His work has opened doors for young people to gain skills, confidence, and direction. At Green Fondo, Damon brings LABA’s mission to a larger stage—riding for equity, sustainability, and the future.
