L.A.B.A.'s focus is to work with underserved youth where opportunity and access within the sport of cycling is very limited.
More than just a cycling team, LABA is a transformative force for youth aged 8-18. We empower them through the sport of cycling, instilling valuable leadership and entrepreneurial skills that propel them beyond the finish line. Our efforts over the years have yelled powerful testaments to the enduring value of our mission. This momentum has continued to propel us forward as we enter an exciting new phase, focused on exceeding our goals in 2024 and reaching even more young minds.
Your support is crucial in helping us achieve this vision. Your generous donations unlock unique opportunities for our young racers, including funding exciting team trips that broaden their horizons and foster camaraderie. Additionally, your contributions directly support our bike shop training classes, equipping youth with valuable mechanical skills and fostering a lifelong love for cycling.
$200 provides an earn-a-bike opportunity, giving deserving youth the chance to build valuable life skills and ownership through hard work and dedication.
$75 gasses up the team van, ensuring our riders get to races and training sessions safely and on time.
$250 feeds the team a delicious and nutritious dinner on the road, fueling their bodies and spirits for competition and camaraderie.
$1,000 flies a rider to a domestic race, opening doors to new experiences and challenging competition that can elevate their skills and confidence.
$3,000 rents a team house for five race days, providing a comfortable and supportive home base for our riders during intense competition periods.
$10,000 supports the costs of one rider for one year, covering everything from training expenses and equipment to travel and competition fees, allowing them to fully focus on achieving their cycling goals.

We accept used bicycles and accessories and refurbish the bikes and gears for give-a-way to the underserved communities.
